Kuz(26) started off playin on DJ Marts decks about 6 years ago, he plays mainly Oldskool and Kinetic classics.
But what is happening to hardcore.
Garage had taken over the club scene & gone are the days of whistles and white gloves.
The closure of clubs like Kinetic saw the end of the Rave experience. There have been many hardcore clubs opened but they just fizzle out as they just canīt recreate that rush.
The producers are not making the tunes as much, and when the do they have not had time spent on them, So there may never be another Toy Town type anthem.
This profile was written a while ago and things seem to be changing now with new record labels comming out, like raver baby and not forgetting our very own label DFM Records, and the tunes that are being released are exeptional so look out for the rise of hardcore once more in 2002.
But There will always be a slot for the hardcore on dimension.
Top tunes:
Kuz said Snow in summer aswell and he purchased the tune In april 2000, for Ģ8 it is in mint condition, he said he would of paid a Ģ100 for the tune as we only had an old Exile tape from a Wayne Taylor set with it on.
We emailed loads of places to try and find it and had no joy.
But while at Flip records he was Talking to Fracus and he was sorting out some Oldskool tracks and he pulled it out, Kuz's wallet has never moved so fast before and it was bought.
But his fave tunes are Sing it loud by Vibes Toy town (if he played garage im sure that he would slip it in there, he always plays this tune)
