KT is 21 and started dj'ing at the age of 15. She used to listen to a lot of Hardcore, Old Skool, Trance and Techno, dj'ing a lot of commercial Trance and House. Now KT plays a lot of underground Trance and Hard Trance building up the tunes throughout her set.
In her time dj'ing, KT has become one of the best known and popular female dj's in the area. She is the resident DJ at the Buttermarket in Shrewsbury on Friday nights and also enjoys playing at other clubs and parties/raves around the West Midlands area. She also teaches and runs her own dj skills workshops in the week when not dj'ing.
I prefer to play a lot of harder underground tunes now than I used to. I used to play a lot of commercial nights four or five years ago, but now my style has developed and I prefer playing the more harder underground dance sound. I have always loved Trance and it has always been my favourite music to play and listen to. I would describe my style as being banging and very uplifting.
