Fracus has been involved with dance music from a very young age, and at only 19 looks forward to expanding and improving his career as both a DJ and a producer. Early musical influences came from people like Carl Cox , DJ Hype , Ratty and Seduction. Fracus became increasingly interested in the hardcore sound and has now been DJ’ing himself for over five years. In recent years he has also become increasingly interested in the producing side of hardcore and has already completed an impressive selection of material. He has worked with (amongst others) Force & Styles, UFO, Gavin G, Breeze, Mimic, & Devastate, all of whom have been a tremendous support and influence as time has gone on. He is currently studying for a Music Technology degree and is improving his own studio at the same time.

As a DJ , Fracus’ style is similar to the tunes he produces with heavy trance influences and an uplifting vibe. He also plays/collects Old Skool and learned a great deal about the scene through a part time job in a dance music record shop. This helped him to gain knowledge and meet people involved in the local scene, resulting in some early bookings at local clubs and illegal raves.

Fracus was signed to Infinity Records (Breeze & UFO) for a while, but since then has recorded material for various other hardcore imprints including DFM Records. A project that has really put itself on the map in 2002. The recognition that the label has given Fracus (and the other DFM artists) has resulted in bookings all around the UK that look set to continue, and now with international interest being shown as well, 2003 should see him continue to make a strong name for himself in the Hardcore scene.
